Taking a break.../Quitting a Fandom
Since I joined the fandom in 2008, my life has changed a lot, some good and some bad, but I grew stronger through all of it. But as the years have gone on, I am slowly realizing I focus to much on being the person others see me as, instead of who I am. I have lost track of the inner me that makes me happy. But what does this have to do with the fandom. Well it has a little to do with the fandom, through the fandom i found my inner self, but also lost it at the same time. I need to step back and grow into myself before I am ready to be part of a fandom where every can be themselves. I feel like I am deceiving the fandom by showing a false face of myself. I also just plain don't like seeing or hearing about the drama 24/7 from friends, not while I am in this weird emotional state.
I love the fandom and all the good experiences that it has brought. But I have some serious "growing up" to do. I need to figure out my own life and get things back on track. So what does this mean for all my friends. Well seeing as how almost all of my friends are in the fandom, I am not sure what is going to happen. I may keep in touch, I may not. We may chat and meet up or we might not see each other for years. I truly dont know how this is going to effect our relationship. But I love all my friends, I always enjoy hanging out with all of you, and I know how much all of you support me. I want to be the best I can so I can support you too.
So, I am not sure if this is going to be a break, or a straight up quit from the fandom. But seeing that it is the biggest distraction on my mind and the source of many past issues, it is one step in figuring my life out.
This means, I will also probably be a lot less active online, if I am online at all.
Thank you for reading this little rant/journal of mine,
Alex

Bloodlines History Sneak Peak
The Bloodlines universe has existed for millions of years. At the beginning there was one race called the Eltakai. The Eltakai were a mighty and noble race. They watched over the universe as it expanded and kept peace between all the growing races and species.
The universe at the time seemed neverending to the Eltakai, and they tried deeply to discover all of its secrets. For thousands of years they explored and experimented trying to learn what made the universe tick. One day an Eltakai Scientist made a discovery.
He discovered that the seemingly magical energy that formed the universe was flowing within the blood of the Eltakai themselves. It seems that they were created from the same energy as the entire universe. But the scientist made yet another discovery in his lifetime. Not only did the Eltakai have this life energy within them, they also had a chaotic negative energy as well.
With this knowledge the Eltakai began to prosper, learning to harness the life energy of the universe to their advantage. Until one day they were just gone. Not a sign of them remained. All that was left in the world were the other tribes the Eltakai had raised from the soil. The life blood flowing in all of them as well.

Bloodlines RPG
Bloodlines is a D20 based tabletop game. It is a more modern setting and I am drawing a lot from pathfinder for my inspiration. I currently have most of the stuff written up in my note book and am in the process of trying to write a rough copy of an official game rules book.
The basis behind the game is mainly that all races have different percentages of members with magical abilities. So each town has a different chance from the previous of someone being able to find magic items or a healer. Also the magic system I changed in the game in a way that is not yet complete. But I believe it to be fully unique compared to any other games I have played.
The game takes place in a fantasy universe and is up to the imagination of its players to fill in the blanks. It can be played for endless hours as long as the GM allows it.
Currently I am running a play test with my Girlfriend and her cousin. It is going well, but I am learning what needs to be tweaked and balanced as far as classes and items. So hopefully by next week I will have my rough draft and by next month I will have a play tested version out and updated.
Most likely I will be hosting the game books and materials on my Google drive for now and sharing as it is wanted for others to play. That way updates are instant.
That is all for tonight, Keep an eye out for the official game launch coming very soon I hope.

I'm Back
Currently I am unemployed but I hope to remedy that soon. Not sure how but I know I will find something.
Halloween is coming up fast and I am very excited for that. Not sure what my exact costume will be, but I have a few ideas floating around my head.
More recently I have been working on a tabletop game, sort of like D&D and Pathfinder. Have it set up in some ways alike but in certain ways it is different. I have the base content of it done but lots of fine details before it is 100%. Will post more about the game later.
I am going to attempt really hard to update once a day with a blog or a video of my game series. I am currently playing Minecraft with Thaumcraft and Ars Magica 2 mods installed. Series is going good, but is going to take some work. Lots of complicated spell crafty things to work with. But it is going to be a super enjoyable series.
Other than that, not a whole lot to go on. The Necodrale is back and here to stay.

Weekly Update
To start off with, last Sunday June 2nd I turned 21 and could not be more happy about it. I love the freedom of going to bars and drinking that I gained. It is so cool. Really enjoying Woodchuck Hard Cider. It is my favorite drink.
This past Friday my girlfriend graduated High School officially. It was a pretty interesting ceremony. Was so proud to watch her go up on stage. The day afterwards my brother graduated High school, his ceremony was a lot longer and lot more boring.
Other than that, I started to take up some archery. Got a bow on my birthday and have been drawing up some plans for a target range. My girlfriend has been teaching me some of the fun tricks that go with it. The basics have been fun, but I really need to work on my accuracy lol XD
I am getting some cleaning done this week and hopefully will be able to get the wood shop at my girlfriends house cleaned up and working so I can open for some wood art commissions. But until then, I am going to open for some writing commissions. I will upload some stories soon once I get the cover art finished.
Lastly, Anthrocon may not happen for us. With moving happening in the next month or two for me. If I can not get some extra cash in my pockets. I might have to cancel my plans to go. But I hope I can get things worked out.

I am back, updates and more
So, I have not posted much on here in a while and with all that has been happening to me, I figured I should throw out some updates.
My Birthday is coming up this Sunday. I am going to be 21, legally able to drink and just another year older. Yet I find myself sitting here questioning what I have accomplished, and I can not think of anything. I know I have a lot of life to live still. But i just wish I had one big accomplishment I could be really proud of by now.
In about 16 hours, My girlfriend is graduating High School, been super busy trying to help her get stuff together and finished. But also trying to find a good way to celebrate everything with her. She has been an emotional wreck about it. Up and down, happy and a a lot of sad. But it will be a fun day.
More news on moving, we are still moving to PA this summer. More specifically Elizabethtown. Family plans have us there no later than then end of July no matter what. So moving is coming on us fast.
Sticking with the happy news, been to the doctors a lot in the last couple of weeks. Even went to one out of state. But things are finally looking up sort of. The treatment they had me on worked, so I am on the road to recovery now. But it is still going to be a long road.
But with all good news comes bad news. For about 3 weeks now, I have been getting killer stomach pains at night. So I went to the doctors and got some answers. Turns out my metabolism, which is wicked fast is too fast. It is some genetic disorder that makes the metabolism fast but it causes stomach pains and makes it so I have trouble keeping weight on. I think in the last 3 weeks I have lost about 10 lbs or so. I keep eating more to try to keep the weight, but I am just having trouble keeping up with my body. So I have another appointment with my doctor to talk about some treatments, I guess pills or shots or something.
Other then that, been feeling kind of lonely and out of touch from my friends, family, acquaintances. and its my own doing. But sitting around at night, I feel the full weight of the loneliness I put aside during the day. I just get moods where I shut everyone out. so if you thought I was ignoring you or anything I'm not, It's just not a good month for me.
Anyways, that is pretty much how I am doing. Happy one major medical thing is over with and now I only have a more minor one. But pretty down about life in general.

Droids and Cuddles
Droids:
Well, as of last night, my phone is scheduled to get updated finally. I have the Galaxy Nexus, it is a wonderful phone. But Verizon has been lacking in keeping it updated to the most recent version. But they started to put out the update last night so I should have it soon.
Also, I just watched a video on the new look of the Play store. I like what I see so far. Another thing I am looking at and using now is Google Keep. Google's note keeping application.
Cuddles:
I got so many cuddles tonight. My girlfriend returned from a 3 day trip to NYC. So yay for cuddles. I am spending the night with her tonight and we will spend the weekend together.

Snow, Minecraft and Alaska
Snow:
Well, its mid-March and since we are in Vermont, there is a snow storm today. It has been going since late last night. I would estimate about 8 inches where I am at so far. Nothing to surprising here though. I plowed the road about 3 times to keep it clear. Every few hours I would have to go out and salt the sidewalk a little. But now sitting here looking out the window I see the snow is coming down hard again so my day may not be over quiet yet.
Minecraft:
In my off time between plowing, I have been playing a bit of Minecraft. I play the game on and off, but I got an idea for a new map today and I have been working on it today. I might make it into an adventure map later once I get the server side map complete.
Alaska:
I have finished Robin Hood. And now moved onto watching Alaska State Troopers. It's a pretty interesting show. Kinda a cool look on Alaska and the problems they face as our northern most state. Seems domestic violence and drugs are big there. Also lots of guns.
That is all for today. So, this is my new format for the blog. Sort of just a quick summary, then details on each specific. If you like it or don't, let me know.

Weekend Wrap Up #2 (WWU2)
Friday:
Friday was the longest day of the weekend. I did not go to sleep Thursday night, and Friday my girlfriend was expecting a package. So I went over to her place to wait for the package with her. It arrived around noon and we just hung out and watched a movie for the night. I tired until about 11pm to get on blogger to talk about the day, but kept getting a log in error. So the exciting news will have to wait until tomorrow.
Saturday:
Party day. Oh the party was amazing. Saturday night was my friend John's St. Patty's day party. Such a wonderful night with so many friends. It was a great time, but I had forgotten to take some of my medicine and it messed up my moods. So I sorta sat back and watched it. But then about halfway through the party John proposed to his boyfriend Casey, he said yes of course and the party turned into an engagement party and it kicked up even more. We went back home around 1am and passed out for the night.
Sunday:
Sunday was lazy and packing day. We slept in until about 11am. Watched some cartoons after that while eating breakfast. Then we had to start packing my girlfriends bag. She has gone off to NYC for a school trip, so we packed up her things. That was the day, laundry, another movie and packing.
Monday:
Nothing to big today. Made storm preparations on my truck. Got tow chains all wrapped up, the plow hooked up, tires all aired up. Everything is all set and ready for tomorrows storm. We are supposed to get up to a foot of snow. Will update you more tomorrow on the storm.
And that is all for this Weekend Wrap Up.

Weakness
I am weak. We are all weak. We all have our off days and we all have our weak points.
I accept this and understand this. But so many things others do not. So many are expecting perfection and strength from everyone. They are even blind to their own weakness.
We are all weak, but that is what makes us strong.

Computer Down
So turns out that partition that I "Wasn't using", was actually my Linux partition. Just to top it all off, it also had my Boot Manager on it. So every time I start up the computer, I get a Grub Error telling me the file system can not be found. So as you can imagine, I am full of joy at this. I try to do a system restore from a restore point a week ago to no luck.
Next I tried just re-installing windows. It was about time for a clean install anyway. But no, that would not work. My computer would not allow it. It had now been 4 hours since my computer crashed on me, well since I crashed my computer. So finally, I turn to the internet for help. The internet gives me a CD called SuperGrubDisk2. Pretty much, I boot the computer off the CD and it replaces the missing boot loader for me.
So, the computer is working again, It needs a little bit of cleaning up still. But I am officially back online with no problems. I missed it here on the internet. But it did give me some time to watch some movies I had been wanting to see.

Moving to PA
Well, in a previous post, I talked about how plans for my girlfriend and I to move had been screwed up. Our friends that were going to host us for a few months pulled back the offer and left us kinda stranded.
But we have worked out something to get moving. We will not be moving until late June or early July now.
We are moving to Harrisburg, PA. Not sure what kind of work is around there, but I will find something once we move. My family has a house there that we are going to be staying in until I find an apartment.
Not a lot more details to give. We are moving there no matter what, then I am getting an apartment.
Another thing, April 6th, we will be hosting a party for all our friends to celebrate all the fun times we have had here in Vermont, and to give everyone a good chance to hang out before we go.

Weekend Wrap Up!
It was tons of fun and there was live DJs and a drum line. The chili was good as well. Some was not so great, but others were just amazing. Chili is not my favorite food, I only eat it at this festival really so I am not the best judge of a good chili.
Sunday was my lazy day. We went to bed at about 12:30am Sunday morning and did not get out of bed until 5:30pm. So not a lot to report from Sunday this week. Next weekend should be a little more exciting.
Monday, was just another Monday. Made tons of my beginning of the week phone calls and paid some bills. Mondays are pretty mundane for me, so another reason I see it fit to do this Weekend Wrap Up.

It's the weekend!
This weekend we are going to a chili festival and then we are going to see a play. Lots of time to hang out and be together as well. I love the weekends.
Other than that, today has been a slow day. I made some fried chicken for dinner and now I am just doing some little things before bed.

Drained the life right out of me
The first was to The Department of Labor in Vermont. I had filed for unemployment a few weeks ago since i lost my job. But they called me this morning to tell me that my former employer says they have no record of me working for them. Yet, I have pay stubs, W-2s and the government accepted my tax return listing them as an employer But now since they said I was not an employee, my unemployment gets delayed even more and I am having no luck finding a job. Also, I have to present all the proof that I actually worked there now. So somehow I have to get to the city to go to the state offices and show them the pay stubs. This call enraged me so much and drained so much energy from me. I was arguing with this woman for an hour because she was trying to convince me the employer was right that I never worked there because they sent a notarized letter.
The second phone call was just a more local one. Just had to call the hospital to have them send me a bill to send to my insurance company from the car accident I had. They are mailing it to me, so i should be able to clear that bill up tomorrow.
Speaking of tomorrow, its Friday! Everyone loves a Friday. People go out at night, the weekend is upon us and everything is relaxing. Relaxing is something that I disparately need. Also, this weekend, Saturday to be exact is the local chili festival. So expect a chili filled blog post Saturday night with pictures and maybe even some video.

League, Sims, Cheeseburgers and Fursuit!
Then, LoL's servers went down and the game crashed, so I dug through some old CDs and found my Sims City 4 deluxe edition disks. Pretty much all day now I have been playing this game, creating cities, destroying cities and goofing around. I have had a few issues with the game just quitting on me when I am working on my Capital City region though.
Around 5:30pm I made dinner for the family. We had my famous cheeseburgers complete with secrets spices and sauce. As usual everyone wanted to know the recipe, but I will never tell.
Also, today I got a message from my fursuit maker. She is back at home after a bed bug invasion and is going to be finishing my suit up this week. So by the end of next week it will be shipped here to me. It is pretty exciting, I was supposed to have it by Christmas, but both of us have had delays stopping that from happening.
Another thing that has been on my mind is my story. A few years ago, I started writing a story but it fell off and got pushed back to the bottom of my pile. But now, with all my free time, I think I might take up the writing again.

Moving... or not?
Now, because of reasons I only slightly understand, our friends are backing out their offer to us to move to them. Which leaves us in an even tighter spot than we originally had been in. Before they offered to let us move with them in January, I had lost my job, and was losing my current homing situation in June. I couldn't move away since my girlfriend had a semester of school left. So when they offered to help out, everything brightened up for both of us.
But, we are back in our tight spot. I have no job still, my bills are getting more and more backed up. So now we are in a tighter spot with only a few months to find a new place, a new job and a new college in the area. We have a few options open to us. Moving with my parents in June for a few months till I can get my own place, moving in with her parents out west until we can get our own place or struggling to scrape enough together to get our own place here.
Not the best of things to deal with. Kinda makes me upset at my friends a little as well, but they are still our friends.
Not much left to report here, going to go on the hunt some more to get some answers. News will come as I get it.

New look
I had gotten some complaints of it being hard to read. So i took action, drew up a quick background and got some better fonts. The site should be much easier to read now and also, I really like this new look.
If you like it or hate it let me know. I will be happy to try to accommodate every ones needs when reading my blog.

Happy and Healthy
Today marked the start of a new week, but also marked the beginning of my workout schedule. I decided to workout to get in shape, but also use it to de-stress myself a bit each day. I made a routine and I plan on sticking to it.
Besides starting the workout, today also brought some bad news for me. My truck windshield has a large crack in it. Making it almost impossible to drive until i can fix it. Which wont be possible until I get money or a job. Problem being I cant get to work without a vehicle. So I am in a big loop of stress...
Tomorrow will be a mellow day, just going to sit at home and think things through and try to make a plan.

Goodbye... (Rant)
Goodbye to all you one sided friendships. For to long have I let you get away with this. The one sided game stops now. No more of just texting or talking to me when you need something. I am tired of being there for you all the time, and then when I want to talk, you say your to busy, or you just make it about you.
I am tired of never having you start a conversation, never putting any thought towards me to talk. Always just waiting till I try to talk to you. How can you call yourself my friend when I get ignored by you.
How do I consider you a friend when you never invite me to anything, when you decline my invitations all the time.
I am over it, I am done with all this. No more, this is the end. One sided friendships, this is your goodbye.

Mardi Gras
Best part was I got to see one of my best friends for the first time in a month. I also got the chance to meet her boyfriend for the first time since he was up for a visit, which was an awesome bonus for me. They are both really awesome people and they just about made the day for me.
Not much else to report here, tomorrow I have a rant I will be going on about. Something that has been irking me for a while and i need to vent. But for today, its a good day.

WoW, Hail and Mardi Gras
I have been playing the game on and off for a month now. Only a few hours a day, and only a few days a week. So it has been fun for me, a good use of time that I have laying around. Yes, I have time laying around my room.
Today, I was going to go jogging, it was the first real spring day we had. But the sky decided it was time for hail. Of all things hail. I would have jogged in the rain or snow, but hail hurt. It was an indoor day instead. Which I played some more WoW. Today I broke my goal of getting to level 30. It was fun to get to this point alone in the game. I think i am doing pretty well.
This weekend we have a local Mardi Gras party. So I will post some pictures and maybe a video of the parade. It should be a fun party and a good excuse to get out of the house finally.
Super quick post today, not a lot happened, and not a lot hit my head to discuss. But more will come soon.

Community and Responsibility
Community to me is a strong tight knit group of friends who have each others backs. One falls down, the rest jump in to help them back up. My community is made up of my girlfriend, my close family and some friends. Sadly though over the last week or so, my community has been struck with hardship. Friends turning on friends, friends canceling life altering plans and family's fighting. I think most people have forgotten the community they are in, and instead put themselves above it all. My community is crumbling around me, but a new tighter knit one is forming from the rubble.
Now, responsibility is a big thing. Every kid wants responsibility. They want to be trusted with something. But once you get older, you want nothing to do with it. You want nothing to do with taking the blame for your own actions. Sadly if you don't notice, this hurts the ones around you. You can not just leave the problems you created for someone else to pick up.
Then, for me there is something in between, communal responsibility. You take responsibility for not just your own actions, but those of the whole community Ones failure becomes your own, ones success becomes you're success story. You take not just your personal actions onto you anymore. This is what builds a strong group in my opinion.
So, today was just a rant day for me, I have been having some trouble with some friends and some community members, and this is really just to get my point of view across.
I might be taking a trip in a few weeks to go visit some places for our move, so I was thinking on top of the normal daily post I would add in a Vlog of the drive or maybe just a look around the area. Something a little extra.

Blogging FAQ
Q. What will be posted on this blog?
A. Well, you see, this is my personal blog, so almost anything could be posted here. My daily re-cap, a story I wrote, a poem or even a rant out at something I am upset over. But whatever I do post will be very fun to read and contain some humor to lighten up the mood.
Q. When will you update the blog?
A. Very simple answer for this. I want to update the blog daily. Now that can mean just one post a day, but on most occasions more. As things happen and thoughts cross my mind, I will share them.
Q. Why write a blog?
A. I wanted to write a blog to communicate and reach a wider audience of people on the internet. Sometimes it is simpler for me to put out my thoughts to the masses and see what they think. The blog for me is a release, a way to empty the thoughts filling my head on a daily basis.
Q. Should we comment on the posts or share the posts?
A. Yes, of course, all comments are welcome. Actually if you want to give me advice or an idea you want me to blog about, tell me straight up. Sharing of my blog is encouraged, I want to reach all the people I can with my thoughts and silly ideas.

Day 2, Snow storm, Zombies, Sherlock and more
The characters in Sherlock are so memorable, and the cases on the show bring back childhood memories for me. I can still remember reading the books in the school library. This show has me hooked bad. But the one thing is, having read the books, the episodes are a bit predictable. But they are still amazing and fun to watch, and seeing it on the screen makes it all the different. I whole heartily recommend the show to everyone. The first two seasons are on Netflix now.
Sherlock took me into the early morning, till about 9am. Then my mom called me to go to McDonalds for her breakfast, Yuck! So i threw on mt jacket and drove the 5 minutes to pick up the food from the drive through along the way, I noticed it was snowing and that I needed a coffee badly. So I got myself a coffee with the meal and headed back home for more entertainment.
Coffee with vanilla coconut milk is wonderful, I am in love with coffee again after years of not having any.
Now, the snow storm. It is not to bad, some snow on the roads, but the rant from this is to you drivers. You are the most dangerous thing on the road. Driving 15 in a 50 zone and grinding your breaks down every hill is going to get someone killed. Just go a bit slow, and learn to drive in the snow. We live in Vermont, we are born knowing how to traverse snow. You folks almost caused three accidents, two including me in just under 40 minutes and 20 miles of driving.
Zombies! The Walking Dead is high on my list of shows. I just finished watching the new episode, and this show is another that has me hooked. But it is falling for me, I know it based off a comic, but it is loosely based off it. The show is taking a wrong focus for me, so the hook might be slipping out of me.
That is my day so far, might get to bed early tonight. But might also stay up a little late depending on how tired I am. But figured I would get my post across now just in case. Yes, I know, technically i already posted today. But figured you guys deserve some more info. I got some stuff to rant about next time and also plan to give you all a good "About Me" post.
Till next time,
~RZN
New Blog, Same story.
I love tea, drinking tea and catching up on shows while I work is my favorite thing to do. Well, i best get back to my work now, got lots to do before the sun starts shining in the window next to me. Guess this post came out pretty good for a first shot.
